The event was a multi-media promenade theatre experience, including live performance, soundscape, projected image, written text and song. The creative team included 3 young women from the Dreamhouse ensemble, plus 2 Rosebud Secondary College senior students, professional actors and 4 community members, performing monologues and scenes. Spark Youth Dance Company Artistic Director, Alex Dellaportas, choreographed a birds inspired movement piece for the multi-aged cast as a finale. The performance was followed by an afternoon tea Q & A surrounding the importance of the empowerment of women. |
