| Description |
Chang, Chinese magician, performs a season at the Theatre Royal. Chang was born in China and received his education in the United States. His father, he said, was the court magician and astrologist to the Emperor of China, who is now the Emperor of Manchukuo. When the Chinese rebellion occurred in 1911, his father, by means of his illusions, was able to help the Emperor escape. Chang's show in Adelaide is in the form of a revue, including ballets in his magical show. Leading lady Joanna Clare performs with Chang. |
