| Description |
Tilt, the opening piece rivets the attention from the outset. Against a backdrop of curtained windows spaced some yards from an empty picture frame, a woman stands absolutely still...there are occasional sounds of voices but she appears locked in silence...one becomes aware that she is trapped in domesticity...Like an Octopus is for a man and a woman...the couple begins like strangers...they become aware of each other, then physically drawn into what becomes a protracted sexual duel...Cadavre Exquis is a surreal piece that uses all five dancers and tango music. |
