| Description | Odoyá is a multidisciplinary act exploring music, dance, capoeira, story telling, live visuals and traditional instruments. Tetê Maitê and Marina Da Silva reflect upon the past stories of the journey of the slaves from West Africa to Brazil through 3 performance stories. Marble Rain is a foley and live music work by Miki Takahashi and Julien Mier, who combine the sounds of many every day objects to create lush music. The work features independent contemporary dancer Viola Iida and an exhibition of paintings by Iro Kitamura and Nema Amen. Kitamura will perform an improvised drawing in relation to Amen's projection visuals. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
