Maybe You, Maybe You, Maybe Even You is a participatory performance that investigates the nuances of queer visibility in public space. Set in a busy café or bar, participants seek a series of clues on a journey to locate transgender woman and Andy Warhol’s tragic muse, Candy Darling. Multidisciplinary artist Liam Colgan is seeking to codify and aestheticise parts of their personal queer experience. The work’s creative development at Adhocracy will focus on investigations of visibility and absence, choreography and sound, and deepening its participatory framework. |
