Description Three exceptional actresses and a two-man band bring Carol Ann Duffy's slim volume of poetry to life in this sparking piece of contemporary theatre. The 'other halves' of famous men from history, literature, fable and myth take the stage, and amazing tales to tell. Mrs Rip Van Winkle, Queen Kong, Frau Freud, Salome, Myra Hindley and Medusa... with salty wit, damning truth and luminous beauty, they tell it as it is and as it always was. Their stories are the stuff of which fairy tales, tabloid headlines and legends are made. This is intimate theatre of epic proportions.
