| Description | Alfred Jarry's anarchic satire on the corrupting influence of power is, at any time, one of the most hysterical and witty evenings to be spent in the theatre. But when the cast list consists largely of fruit and vegetables you can be sure that some serious fun is in store. Imagine a Russian army made up of potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, cabbages, radishes and lettuce... Consider the King of Poland played a bunch of grapes... anarchy rules, death is swift and frequent and something deeply unpleasant happens to a bunch of leeks.
