| Description | Leading New Zealand choreographer, Michael Parmenter, launched two enormously successful works in 1988: "Go" and "Insolent River."
This Festival presents his company and guest, Douglas Wright, in the premiere of "Gravity and Grace" ; three new dances based on music by Stravinsky, Bach and Messiaen. Each is accompanied by live music. "The Rite of Spring" is an epic, solo re-creation of the Stravinsky masterpiece.
