Description |
Alan Seymour's play The One Day of the Year explores father & son conflict through the lense of alcoholic nostalgia of Anzac Day. It poses a challenge to reconsider the relevance and reverence of the day.
Produce and presented at the end of first term 1970 by the students of Adelaide Teachers College Speech & Drama Students.
"Since 1967 the speech and Drama course students at Adelaide Teacher's College have been presenting plays to parties of school children and to the public. This allowed school students to see, at very low cost, performances of plays they are studying in school."
