Artist statement: "Within the scissors arc there is an infinite number of resting points: the exquisite tool that begs handling. Curvaceous, voluptuous, holed handles tapered to a sharp point. Reworking the obsessional mark recalls the product of labour. The piece work. Movement of the hand. Movement of the heart. The moment of metamorphoses can never be pinpointed. Recollected through the eyes over time." |
