| Description |
Group exhibition presented by the Sydney College of the Arts (Sculpture).
Catalogue essay excerpt: "The work in this exhibition, with its frequent use of found objects and secondhand and recycled materials looks back to these things, not to find a lost or hidden meaning truer than current prevailing versions, but to provoke contradictions which allow the past and its inevitability to be critically questioned. The work finds the past again in the present, in a new set of problems and contradictions that neatly avoids the perpetual relativism often implicit in notions of history" |
