Artist statement: "... I came to Australia in July 1984. I was put on an aeroplane en route to Sydney and I was pushed out over the city of Wagga Wagga. I have been there ever since. There is no likelyhood of a cultural renaissance developing in Wagga. I rather like the absence of an intimidating euro-culture, I have to perceive things differently here... the story of my life...!'
