| Description |
"With - amongst other development - the removal of certain texts from the NSW school curricula, the possibility of new video classifications, the suggested regulation of broadcast material along the lines of an "Australian look" and the seemingly increasing concentration of the media in the hands of a very few, censorship, whether directly or by stealth, is becoming an issue of increasing importance and concern. What are the limits of so-called "taste" and "decency" in the media? What role does the media play in creating audiences and forming tastes and values?" |
