Description |
An exhibition and performance by James McAllister //
This is the final in a series of six exhibition/performance addressing the inexact pursuit of an identifying (mortifying) document. The exhibition utilises certain point of sale/packaging protocols to present a number of objects/substances drawn from a personal inventory of obsessive attachments, ie RESIDUUM. The performance (a simple, prescribed set of actions which both informs and is informed by the exhibited material) is a rhetorical device intended as an adjustor in the relationship between work and viewer. |
