Video installation / The psycho-spiritual experiences born of the horrific realities endured by survivors (of genocidal persecution) permanently reside at the core of their being. These experiential realities create a world which will always exist for them, despite their socio-political environment insisting it is in the past, eradicated. It defiantly continues to exist within the survivor's familial environment, irradiating. The survivor's past is not merely 'historical', but current and active, not only in their own reality formation, but also in that of their progeny. Stalemate. |
