Wall of Sound is an experiential sound work that places the instrument between two bodies, as divider and conduit – the artist’s hands moving the gong, moving the air, moving into the audience member’s chest and through their bones. Through an immersive and intimate experience, van Reyk gifts each participant a rich tapestry of felt sound. |
