| Description |
Academy and Grammy Award winning 'Crouching tiger and Hidden Dragon' composer Tan Dun's music is as much a visual as an aural experience. In the Paper Concerto - he has invented incredible paper instruments : Paper drums and immense sheets of paper that whispers, rustle and crack. The map is a mesmerising concerto for cello, orchestra and video where cellist Li-Wei engages with projected images of Chinese life,. Tan fun conducts these extraordinary multimedia artworks that are a feast for the mind and the senses - a musical and philosophical journey. |
