Sorry Day is the annual recognition of the forced removal of thousands of Aboriginal children from their families. In acknowledgement of this day, the NSW Sorry Day Committee, Journey of Healing and Sydney Opera House host an evening of discussion, poetry and performance by members of the Stolen Generation. A special address will be given by Sorry Day Patron, Doris Pilkington Garimara, author of "Follow The Rabbit Proof Fence". |
