| Description |
Upon its release, "The Voices of Light" CD became a best seller, earning Richard Einhorn the distinction of being only one of a few living composers to have made the charts. But this music is best heard as the composer intended as a live accompaniment to Dreyer's 1928 classic silent film, "The Passion of Joan of Arc". Under the direction of Rumon Gamba, the Australia Chamber Orchestra and the ACO Voices perform Einhorn's brilliant score live in the Concert Hall against the cinematic backdrop. |
