					| Description |
During the past 8 years, the What is Music? Festival has emerged as the major catalyst in promoting experimental and improvised music in Australia. The 2002 program is a presentation of some of the world's most revered cutting-edge artists operating today. These include electronic artists Otomo Y and Sachiko M. associated with the renowned Japanese Onkyo movements. Swiss 'found sound' innovators Voice Crack and legendary Swiss improviser Gunter Muller. Local artists from groups such as The Neck will also feature in what has to be one of Sydney's most unique music events. |
