| Description |
Spirit of Arnhem Land - Photographer Penny Tweedie forged strong relationships with the Aboriginal people while working and living in Arnhem Land in the late 1970s. She returned 20 years later to chronicle Aboriginal life at the end of the 20th century. Penny's extraordinary photographs are accompanied by the words of the Aboriginal people themselves. These powerful images explore daily lives and culture through Dreaming stories that have sustained their traditional beliefs for milennia. Free exhibition. |
