Description The Spaghetti Western Orchestra brings to life the soundtracks of Italian film composer Ennio Morricone through stylised text, improvised incidental music and live production of sound effects. This Australian-based ensemble interprets Morricone's early work from the 60s and 70s, a time when the avant-garde was simmering and experimentation was the order of the day.

The Orchestra brings to the UK with a battery of exotic instruments and a fistful of new tunes. Combining superb musicianship with live sound effects, deadpan dialogue, orchestral percussion, virtuosic whistling and incoherent grunting, this cult group creates a mesmerising and hilarious soundscape.

Presented in conjunction with Arts Victoria
