Description Recognised as a world-class orchestra with an international reputation, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will perform two concerts at Shanghai Grand Theatre on November 16 and 17, as part of their extensive 2002 tour of China.
Led by Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Markus Stenz, the Orchestra will feature the world premiere performance of a contemporary Australian composition by Melbourne based composer Julian Yu titled Willow and Wattle.
