The Australian Bach Ensemble was formed specifically for Bach 2000 by oboe virtuoso and Baroque specialist Antony Chesterman. It comprises of internationally distinguished young Australian musicians as well as a few expatriots. In three concerts they will perform 12 cantatas celebrating some of Bach's most famous works. |
