Description |
Here, with a small cast of four - mother, son, daughter and a visitor - the picture depicted is of three relatives of such diverse characters that they jar upon each other unceasingly. The mother, with strong matriarchal tendencies desires to find a husband for her slightly deformed, shy, and self-conscious daughter; and the son, bored with domestic conditions, and tired of seeing other people's adventures in "movies" decides to move in search of experience for himself. The vague title is derived from a set of glass animals collected by Laura, the daughter. |
