The Vietnamese Water Puppets will enchant young and old as the Botanic Gardens' lake transforms into a shimmering stage and explodes with jumping fish, dancing fairies and fire-breathing dragons! The villagers of the Red River Delta have practised this exotic art form for 1,000 years and yet the puppeters' invisible manipulations remain a closely guarded secret. Discover water-borne magic as the mythology of Vietnam is brought to life in front of a beautiful ornamental pagoda to the accompaniment of traditional music and sparkling fireworks. |
