Title	Repertory Drama. Society's New Plays. 700 Subscriptions Needed.
Abstract/Description	That Sydney audiences demanded a higher class of drama than is to be found on the commercial stage is conclusively proved by the three years' record of the Sydney Repertory Theatre Society. The enthusiasm and genius of Gregan McMahon launched this valuable movement three years ago, vitally helped by a guarantee by J. and N. Tait. In those three years the society has established itself in the favor of theatre patrons; and the loss of such a valuable element in the arts of Sydney would be severely felt.
