From August 30 the firm of George Marlow Ltd ceased to exist, and the flag of George Willoughby Ltd. was hoisted over the Adelphi Theatre, Sydney, and the Princess Theatre, Melbourne. Theatregoer's throughout Australia know of Mr. Willoughby principally as an actor who toured with his own shows but latterly he has been acting as managing director of George Marlow Ltd., and he has now assumed sole control of this organisation - an organisation which made marked strides in the comparatively short period of three years. |
