Abstract/Description THIS is Australian Drama Month in Sydney. Sponsored by the British Drama League, many of the amateur groups are putting on shows, including one by an Australian author. Amateur — the word, unfortunately, has fallen into bad company among folk who mumble and stumble over -their lines: but that isn't the sort of fare our little theatres offer. Many of the performances are as finished as you might hope to find" anywhere. And the love, passion, the hard work that goes into their production, is creditable — -and women producers are well to the fore.
