| Abstract/Description |
The Snow Gum costume consists of a hand-painted nylon lycra unitard and a gum leaf structure in hand-painted silk. A gum nut hat worn with the costume is not held by the Powerhouse. The costume featured in the Nature segment of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. It is one of 50 identical costumes. It was designed by Eamon D’Arcy and manufactured in the Ceremonies Costume Workshop at Redfern, NSW. |
