| Abstract/Description |
Stills from David Adamson's presentation, "Brecht in Manila". Adamson returned from a three month trip to the Philippines, visiting grassroots theatre companies engaged in promoting democracy through performance. He is joined by Michael Morley, a leading exponent of the Kurt Weill and Hans Eissler repertoire, to present a selection of Brecht songs alongside a performed reflection on his experience in the Philippines and the notion of "workers theatre" in an international context. |
