Description Tonight's play, "The Importance of Being Earnest", is remarkable for a number of reasons. These include: (1) It was written by a remarkable man, Oscar Wilde; (2) the "lost" scene has been restored, as has the character of "Mr. Gribsby, Solicitor'; (3) The play, although written as far back as 1894, has a long history of popularity which it still possesses.
