| Description |
"The setting of the play is in post-war England and tells of the troubles that ensue when one studies too closely the vows one is expected to fulfil after the marriage ceremony. Pam Dickson, played by Jan Mason, becomes doubtful about her ability to carry out her part of the bargain, after reading the ceremony in the Prayer Book. Humour is increased when Millicent, Pam's bridesmaid (Margaret Bollen), decides to solve the situation and show Paul Dickson (Pam's divorced father) in his true colors, or at least attempts to." |
