| Description |
Although there were several lapses by some players, which necessitated prompting, the Repertory Society's play, "Quiet Weekend," at the Police Boys' Club Theatrette last night was a good bright show. Some of the cast were weak on lines, but the experience should give them confidence. Bob Gluis, who has given many excellent performances with the society, on this occasion had charge of production and did a good job. Tom Davoren, as Arthur Royd, gave a good performance, his intention to have a quiet week fishing meeting many setbacks. |
