This is a work about taking a step forward in life - making a change and the sense of urgency juxtaposed to the seemingly endless waiting that one does whilst making horribly important decisions. The benches represent the home base - security - that which one is familiar, and to which one continues to be drawn back. The train represents the journey - the impending change. |
