Carmen, the fiery Spanish gypsy who would rather die than relinquish her freedom, burst on to the stage in May 2007 in François Klaus?s spectacular ballet. Underscored by Bizet?s celebrated music, Carmen?s defiant spirit shines in bold, expressive dance, with the stirring flamenco tradition echoing throughout the choreography. This acclaimed production will tour to seven major Queensland regional centres in 2008.
