| Description |
The stage of a theatre in Melbourne in 1896; Constance Yorkshire has recently been tried for the murder of four people, but (mysteriously) acquitted. George Risiley is a middle aged English actor-manager touring the colonies with his production of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, in which he plays the name roles. Constance is being presented on stage tonight by Risiley, to give her side of her murder trial, and explain why she was acquitted. |
