| Description |
"A new adaptation of Pirandello's Six Characters. A rehearsal is interrupted by characters looking for an author, they have been created and abandoned by their author. A 'family play' unfolds as the father and his stepdaughter try to convince the director to stage their lives. They begin rehearsals and conflict arises between actor and character over who has the most right to live on stage. David Harrower has brought one of the great plays of the 20th Century to a new life for a new century. The themes of the play questions the grounds upon which we base our notion of reality." |
