| Description |
Cox and Box: A grasping landlord, Bouncer, has devised a means of doubling his rent by letting his room to a day-shift worker, Cox, a hatter and a night-shift worker, Box a printer. The farce commences as Cox prepares to leave for work. He is interrupted by landlord Bouncer who recalls his life in the militia. Cox is perplexed by various goings on and questions Bouncer as to why his room always smells of cigarette smoke. Bouncer hurredly rearranges the room but is interrupted by the arrival of his day tenant Box who complains to Bouncer that someone has been using his kitchen. Cox has been given a day off |
