Description "Red Dust Diva" is a modern musical showcasing the original blues and roots songs of Lyndsay Hammond, formerly one half of the internationally successful 80's group, Cheetah.
The story is based on a real life encounter with a character in Kalgoorlie called Tam, an eccentric artist who, but for his love of the bottle, would have achieved international fame. Instead he opted for boozing at the hotel and sorties into the outback where he would sober up, drink only tea, take off all his clothes and paint.
