| Description |
"The Beast in View was selected by an advisory committee for production at the Adelaide Arts festival, together with The One Day of the Year. Later both plays were rejected by the organisers on the ground that they were too controversial. The play is set in a boarding house near King's Cross in Sydney. The characters belong to that fairly small section of the population which lives an urban rather than a suburban life." |
