Description |
Gus has a recurring nightmare of sinking to the bottom of the ocean and being attacked by sea monsters. This time, after reliving the pain of his 16th birthday when his brother, who has a mental illness was taken away by police, the sea monsters turn into other young people with their own stories of caring for family with disabilites. Through the power of shared stories, Gus returns to the surface knowing that there is a refuge when he needs to escape the pressure of his life as a carer. |
