| Description |
"Dramatic story of human love."
"The Rake's Wife" which was produced for the first time in Australia on Saturday night, attracted a large house at the Criterion. The plot, though not deep, is still sufficiently intricate to interest, and the scenes and situations are presented in a way that reflects credit upon the authors, who display much dramatic skill in weaving a story that tells of the doings of a husband who leaves his wife and "sees life" but afterwards returns. - Australian Star (Sydney NSW), Monday 29 Oct 1906 |
