An hilarious but poignant play about William, the accidental solicitor. William's wife, Helen, has planned his career with military precision and tonight is one of her greatest maneouvres yet - the boss is coming to dinner. Her plans go horribly awry, however, with the arrival of William's father, Morris. Morris is a colourful character with an agenda of his own: he wants his boy to quit his job and move into the family shoe business. Everybody seems to know what is best for William but has anyone thought to ask him what it is that he wants? |
