Independent theatre company, Under The Microscope, recipients of the Adelaide Festival Centre inSPACE Development Award at the 2019 Adelaide Fringe, will create a new interactive and participatory work Guthrak, inspired by the table-top game, Dungeons & Dragons. Guthrak focuses on themes of maternal roles and child neglect and
religious freedoms with a focus on women within the church, and
racism through the perspective of its characters. The story was born out of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, developed by Natalie Hockley, who has largely based the character of Guthrak on her own personal |
