An award-winning production that takes a poignant look at ageing, this wordless, tender and life-affirming play performed by young virtuoso actors follows one day in the lives of five retired elderly people sharing a communal flat in Riga. In their world, they communicate with each other through daily objects and material things that are seemingly endowed with a life and soul of their own. These objects are not props produced in theatre workshops, but are in fact actual used objects collected from the apartments of deceased lovely old people. |
