Description Inseparably connected with the Adelaide of bygone days in the minds of long-resident Adelaideans is the building situated off Currie street and Light Square, the old Victoria Theatre, which, mean and out-of-the-way as it now appears, was some thirty years since considered quite a grand Temple. Its little stage was honoured by the tread of some of the most genuine artists both dramatic and lyric that ever visited Australia. For some months past a small army of workmen has been busily engaged in transforming the old theatre into what will be the completest horse auction bazaar in the Australia.
