| Description | A Gothic tale of love, loss and greenstone. A young pounamu carver must uncover the truth of his past stemming back to a tragedy on the West Coast. As a child, Potiki had been taken by his father, Maanaki, and another carver, Tam, to search for a greenstone boulder, but what happened there wreaked havoc on those involved. As Potiki pieces together the story, powerful forces are awakened which, like the Greek gods, demand payment in full for past pacts. | |||||||||||||||||||
