| Description |
African-American playwright Robert O'Hara attacks the subject of slavery with humour as well as anger in a journey through time to 1831, when Nat Turner led a slave revolt in Virginia in which many whites and, in retribution, ten times as many blacks, were killed. Past and present are cunningly interwoven, even ultimately co-existing, in a young man's voyage of discovery of his past - Ron, a PhD student. |
