| Description |
A poorly-paid soldier – Corporal Franz Woyzeck – lives with Marie, the mother of their child, and volunteers for extra work to make ends meet. He has apocalyptic visions but his mental illness goes undiagnosed and when he believes Marie is having an affair with the handsome Drum Major and is beaten up for confronting him, he ends up murdering Marie. |
